Caregiving for an Elderly Couple - 74-year-old female senior (60 kg, 168 cm) and 83-year-old male senior (76 kg, 172 cm) living in an apartment.
The female senior is wheelchair-bound following a stroke and requires assistance with standing, sitting, and transfers, during which she actively cooperates. She is fully oriented and serves as the main contact person. She requires complete assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits. The male senior suffers from dementia, which causes partial disorientation, and he needs constant guidance in daily life, as well as help with hygiene and dressing, as he no longer initiates these tasks himself.
The job responsibilities include managing the household, cooking, laundry, and shopping, all of which are within walking distance. Night assistance is needed 3 to 4 times per night, primarily to assist the female senior with toilet visits. There is an accessible bathroom adapted for wheelchair use. A furnished room with internet and a shared bathroom is provided for the caregiver.
Free time is arranged by agreement, with the seniors being able to be left alone for 3 to 4 hours daily. The position requires a woman aged 35 – 50 years with a good command of the German language, precise motor skills, and a warm approach. Smoking is permitted exclusively outside the apartment premises.

We offer caregiving for a married couple aged 88 and 84 in the peaceful village of Maßbach (97711). The gentleman (88 years, 65 kg, 165 cm) and the lady (84 years, 45 kg, 165 cm) are both mobile and do not require lifting or nighttime care.
The gentleman has dementia/Alzheimer's and incontinence. He has impaired short-term memory and an occasional tendency to leave the house, so doors and entrances must always be locked. He has a kind nature. Supervision of medication intake is necessary, as well as partial assistance with dressing, undressing, and personal hygiene. He manages eating, drinking, and using the toilet independently. For safety, he wears diapers, and approximately every other day, bed linens need to be changed due to possible nighttime leakage.
The lady also has dementia/Alzheimer's and incontinence, but her condition is milder, manifesting only as slight confusion. She requires supervision with medication intake and partial assistance with dressing, undressing, and personal hygiene. She manages mobility, eating, and using the toilet on her own. She uses diapers preventively and still changes her incontinence aids herself. The gentleman's orientation in time, space, and people is only occasionally preserved, while the lady's is intact. It is very important to regularly remind both of them to eat and drink, as they have been hospitalized multiple times for insufficient food and fluid intake.
The job includes meal preparation, shopping, general household care, and laundry. Shopping is accessible on foot. Two people live in the household, and there is also a need for minor assistance with the care of another person.
Caregiving takes place in a two-generation house with an area of 90 m² in the village. The caregiver has their own guest room with internet access, and the bathroom is shared. Time off can be arranged as needed, with one free day per week and 2–3 consecutive hours of free time daily.

The client is a 90-year-old lady with a height of 155 cm and a weight of 50 kg. She suffers from Parkinson's disease and early-stage dementia. On better days, she is mobile, moving independently with a walker or cane, and can go to the toilet on her own at night. However, when her health deteriorates, she needs assistance with getting up, dressing, undressing, and personal hygiene. She has an adjustable bed available.
The most important task for the caregiver is the careful and precise administration of Parkinson's medication (06:00, 07:00, 11:00, 15:00, 19:00, and 21:00).
In the morning, after administering the first medications, the client usually rests and gets up between 9:00 and 9:30. She mostly manages her morning hygiene on her own, but depending on her current health condition, she may need assistance. After breakfast, she moves around the apartment, and another dose of medication is administered in the late morning. The caregiver prepares lunch, which should be served no later than 14:00. In the afternoon, depending on the client's health condition, routine household tasks are performed, such as laundry, vacuuming, watering plants, or small shopping. After dinner, more medication is administered, followed by relaxation in front of the television, and the client goes to bed at approximately 22:00.
Parkinson's disease in the client also manifests as sudden episodes of weakness.

Caregiving for an 85-year-old client.
The client lives alone on the ground floor of a family house, with no other people or pets in the household, and the house does not have internet access. She uses a wheelchair but is currently bedridden due to a recent gastrointestinal infection from which she is still recovering and is significantly weakened. Mentally, she is alert but requires assistance with hygiene and is incontinent—needing help to use the toilet 4 to 5 times a day, including around 23:00 at night. An outpatient nursing service visits the household (providing home care), and night-time availability of the caregiver is also required.
The job involves household management—cooking, cleaning, laundry—and personal care: assistance with morning hygiene in bed or bathroom, possibly showering (barrier-free shower, toilet chair or folding seat), help with transfers and walking to the toilet, assistance with dining at the table, as well as providing companionship and conversations with the client.
The caregiver is required to have a driver's license category B, a good command of German, and above all, patience and empathy, as the client can occasionally be quirky and impatient.
The assignment duration is currently agreed upon for 1 month. The caregiver will be accommodated in a separate furnished room upstairs with a private bathroom (toilet, sink), and may shower in the bathroom on the ground floor. There is also a balcony available where smoking is permitted; otherwise, smoking is prohibited in the house.

The client is a 47-year-old woman weighing 50 kg and 180 cm tall, who moves around the house in a wheelchair. She suffers from advanced multiple sclerosis, is unable to move her arms or legs, and is very limited in mobility. She has gluten and lactose intolerance and an allergy to animal fur. She is entirely dependent on assistance for dressing, undressing, eating, personal hygiene, and toileting. Lifts are available for all transfers. The client wakes up around 8.00–9.00 a.m. and goes to bed at approximately 7.00 p.m. Showers are given on Thursday and Sunday. The caregiver will accompany her by car to the doctor, hairdresser, and other necessary trips.
Job responsibilities include complete household management, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation, with a hot meal cooked in the evening. Shopping is about a five-minute drive away and can be done together with the client. The role also involves spending time together and supporting daily activities. Night work is not required, and physical lifting is not necessary as all transfers are done using lifts. The client retains perception and orientation.
Care takes place in Groß-Gerau, in a family house with a small garden. The caregiver is provided with a furnished guest room with Wi-Fi. A good command of German is required, as well as non-smoking indoors and being an active driver. A personal car with automatic transmission is available. Free time can be taken by agreement, usually daily from 12.00 to 3.00 p.m., and on Monday until 4.00 p.m.
