The lady has been paralyzed on the left side since birth and is dependent on a wheelchair, with cognitive abilities at a child's level and limited speech. Currently, she is very weakened after a recent cold and is temporarily bedridden, preventing her from attending a day care center. We are looking for a caregiver with a good command of the German language. Job responsibilities primarily include assistance with hygiene, dressing, and transferring from bed to wheelchair. Despite her weakness, the lady can use the toilet with assistance, but diapers can be used if necessary. The caregiver is also responsible for managing the household for both individuals, preparing meals, and laundry care. Family members handle shopping by car. Night work is occasionally required as an escort to the toilet, for which a baby monitor is used. The house is equipped with all necessary aids, including a stair lift, nursing bed, and toilet chair. The caregiver has access to a furnished guest room with internet connection. The house is located in a quiet rural area and offers a pleasant environment. The main goal is to relieve the 81-year-old mother, who has been caring for her daughter alone until now. Free time is subject to mutual agreement.

Of course, you can also choose another transportation method that you prefer. The caregiver pays for the journey themselves, with the family in Germany contributing €150-200 towards it, and in Switzerland 380 CHF.
In Germany, the standard length of a work period is 4 to 6 weeks, while in Switzerland it's 2 months. In the case of temporary replacements, the periods are shorter.
The salary range in Germany is between €1200 and €2200 per month on a trade license. Compensation depends on the required language and other skills, the client's health condition, and whether care is provided for an individual or a married couple. In Switzerland, the salary ranges from 2460 to 2500 CHF per month on a Swiss employment contract.
In Germany, an intermediate to good knowledge of German is most commonly required, while some families are satisfied with basic knowledge and/or require knowledge of another language, such as Czech or Russian. Families in Switzerland require good knowledge of German, though sometimes an upper-intermediate level is sufficient.
