Job opportunity for a caregiver for an elderly woman (90 years, 70 kg, 165 cm) with moderate dementia characterized by forgetfulness and occasional disorientation (months, time). She does not exhibit aggressive behavior or have a tendency to wander. She has mild incontinence (urine), using incontinence briefs and pads. Her mobility is limited; she moves slowly to prevent the risk of falling, uses a wheelchair, and requires assistance when standing up. The caregiver will assist with hygiene, regularly change pads, and remind her of the toilet (approximately every 3 hours), supervise medication, diet, and hydration. Additionally, the role includes cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, shopping (on foot), household assistance, and providing companionship. Light lifting may be required (assistance with standing), with night work only as needed based on daily condition, generally not regularly. Caregiver: female, intermediate knowledge of German, non-smoker, driver's license not required. May bring a pet. Location: 47239 Duisburg, rural environment, family house (170 m²). A guest room with a sink, bed, and wardrobe is available. Internet access is provided. Time off to be arranged.

The caregiver pays for the journey themselves, with the family in Germany contributing €150-200 towards it, and in Switzerland 380 CHF.
In Germany, the standard length of a work period is 4 to 6 weeks, while in Switzerland it's 2 months. In the case of temporary replacements, the periods are shorter.
The salary range in Germany is between €1200 and €2200 per month on a trade license. Compensation depends on the required language and other skills, the client's health condition, and whether care is provided for an individual or a married couple. In Switzerland, the salary ranges from 2460 to 2500 CHF per month on a Swiss employment contract.
